The nostalgia I get from this is one of the reasons I love hip hop.

I was livin' on Cottage Hill in Decatur, IL in the late 90s and me and my homeboys would each buy a cd that came out that week. We would trade cds after about a week so we could all listen to what each other bought. This EPMD album is one of the albums that was bought that week:banderas:

Black Republican. The weird thing about that joint is they both kinda disappointed me with their verses. Jay-z sounds like he is trying WAY too hard and Nas sounds like he didn't even try hard at all, lol. That beat is so beautiful and epic and big tho that it makes up for it. Salute to Vito Corleone laying the murder game down in 2, :ahh:
