You do realize the name of this track is Big Timer right?

I realize that and I realize that Big Tymers were CMR artists, but highly unlikely the song is jocking their name more so than it is using a general term to describe someone flossing.

You can't draw a connection because you don't know.

I told you No Limit lost it's Branding influence and people started to realize most albums were trash. People on the label moved to better production. All document facts.

youre pushing your opinions as facts.

no limit didn't hit a decline until half of their roster bounced. not because of what you think.

most people who thought no limit albums were trash, weren't the ones buying their stuff to begin with. otherwise their stuff would've stopped selling much earlier.

:comeon:What's next? lil' Romeo wasn't a lil' Bow Wow knock off?

how? because they were both kid rappers?

what is the logic in this? maybe im missing something because I was im high school when they started cuttin albums.

Plenty of rappers had flossy videos. But no one was doing Stuntin' like Big Tymers.

Like where is their How you luv that? They came in the game dusty ass soldiers (from the Bay Area) and flipped when Cash Money pushed the Bling Era.

Don't matter who did it first (Which was Cash Money anyway), It's about Impact. I told you read the thread title.

again you sound green.

the 2 main things that appealed about cash money initially(aside from them having a machine behind them) were their youthfulness and the way they took new orleans back to the streets visually.

no limit at that point was mostly either lavish videos, or glossy or green-screen.

and they were heavy on rockin suits, corporate thuggin, while CMR was tees, bauds & rees.

You dumbfukk, just stop posting. NL had tons of flossy/bling videos and CD covers in 1998, CMR came thru in early 99 after Ha came thru and they released Chopper City In Da Ghetto, 400 Degreez re-release with the Jay Z feature, Guerilla Warfare etc. Their flossy era really started with the Bling Bling video in spring/summer 99

Mystikal, Fiend, Kane&Abel and the smaller acts WOULD HAVE STAYED WITH NO LIMIT, it was P who cut them off for different reasons (sth personal with Mystikal, the Pena connection with Kane&Abel, going to a more hit-oriented sound meant getting rid of Skull, Fiend, Big Ed, Serv etc, who were loyal to BBTP....)

Fukk your zero knowledge ass

I'll repeat, Plenty of rappers had flossy videos. But no one was doing Stuntin' like Big Tymers. Show me their "How you luv that" album?

You don't actually listen to the music, you just seen a few videos here and there.

"I'm not a stunna, I'm a baller. Meet me downtown, I got them halves and them quarters"---- Master P, "I'm A Baller".

What you call, stuntin', No Limit actually frowned upon. So it looks like you don't even listen to the music because you posted a video of "Bout Dat" and claimed No Limit was jacking by stuntin' in the video when in the song, P clearly says "No Limit stuntin' and frontin', lil' daddy, I doubt that".

So yeah, No Limit flossed and it's hustlin' backwards to ask why nobody was stuntin' like the Big Tymers when they weren't even on like that in '97. P had the flashy lifestyle going back to 1996 with Ice Cream Man.
