Now this nikka caught in a lie and he don't wanna talk no more. :russ:

You said they were rocking suits heavy corporate thuggin'. Cash Money had the White T's and the jeans. These are your words.

So why is he not wearing the suit no more in the video? You played yourself.

I was talking about their heyday in the '90s.

you linked up a video from f*ckin 2001.

and then you wonder why I don't want to be bothered with ya dumbass.

Yeah but you said they were rocking suit and all that. Why they stop rocking suit and start dressing down like the competition? Come on man.

Like I said in the beginning, you're confused.

This is what I originally said below, but you run around saying I shifting my argument. Naw, I caught you with your own words.

and they were heavy on rockin suits, corporate thuggin, while CMR was tees, bauds & rees.

also for the record, no limit didn't just have ONE style.

they would have like 10 videos out at once.

some joints they would be in gawdy suits, some in camouflage suits, some in jerseys, some in whatever. and thats just from their glory era.

shoot, they even had videos in white-tees if you wanna take it all the way back before the hot boys even existed.

AGAIN, why are you posting a video from 2001?

if you had any clue of the timelines that we're talking about, you wouldn't be posting this, and your comprehension level wouldn't be in the negatives right now.

YOU WERENT AROUND. stop trying to play teacher to people who were actually around and know what theyre talking about.

go listen to lil twist and get the f*ck on.

No Limit. CMR came up off No Limit's blueprint:

- Flashy Pen & Pixel graphics. Eightball & MJG introdiced Pen & Pixel, but No Limit made those graphics synonymous with its brand

- Advertising several upcoming releases complete with album cover inside the booklet

- Keeping everything in house

No Limit's greatest impact was it had a business model that will never be duplicated. They dropped 30 albums in one year and most of them were successful. Each album kind of piggybacked off the previous release.

Yea, I feel like this isn't even a debate...especially if you were around then. Baby or Mannie, or both say that P took they original sound and ran with it, and that's when Mannie switched up his production a bit and started using less of the Triggaman sample, or maybe more. Either way if we looking at from a business standpoint, No Limit got it by a landslide, but as far as music, and the sound, gotta go with Cash Money for the 99 and the 2000 (sn: why there ain't no Bloody Bird smiliess...sht would've really set my post off man:shaq2:)

Juve admitted CM was chasing No Limit in HipHop evolution:ehh:

He said they chased No Limit's success, not sound.

Ms. Tee also said the city didn't really rock with No Limit because they didn't have a true New Orleans style.

I can vouch that you don't hear No Limit in New Orleans when the DJs there do throwback N.O. song. It's alotta Cash Money and other local artists.
