Kanye, of course.
I'm trying to really pin down how many artists have been influenced in a perceivable way by Eminem and not in a, "Man, that shyt was crazy when I heard it!" kinda way. I can only think of maybe a handful at most.
There is a difference between being influenced (being inspired) and biting.
Kante himself is a biter...Rhymefest was performing his biggest song on stage before he was.
He "curates" groups of talented people to make music for him.
Meanwhile...
This is how you show your influences without biting.
Besides, all copying Eminem entails is making yourself vulnerable to your fans by rapping about your life with a more technically driven style of rhyme.
I wonder who's having success with that forumula...I wonder what record label perfected that formula.
Kante on the other hand is throwing tent parties and scrounging around on the underground looking for shyt to steal and water down for mainstream consumption (Death Grips) only to be credited for being the influenc-er rather than the other way around.....
nikkas go hard on Drake for being a fraud, Kante is the Fraud-Father.
