How exactly did he redeem himself? :what:
2010 was a magical season..yes..but it wasnt even a full 16 games and after that season he was medicore at best
and what lifestyle led to him not being a respectable QB ( dont give me he can run, running isnt a primary skill to play the QB position) Partying and smoking isn't something is an exclusive hobby to Michael Vick, most NFL players do the same

Vick was the more exciting QB but people overstate his importance to football
you don't know? he actually changed the game. Look at how all of the Vick clones have dominated the NFL.

How didn't he? going from disgraced former NFL QB to a 100 Million Dollar contract...isn't redeeming yourself?

and yes, his lifestyle down in Atlanta... is what caused his downfall. most NFL players don't get federal time for trying to live like a rapper.:snoop:

who said anything about him not being a respectable QB? Why is it that you new york nikkas can't read?

and no, people don't overstate his importance to football, they may overstate how great of an NFL QB he was... but act like these Dual Threat QB's in the NFL now, aren't descendents of Vick.

:heh:

Kinda like I'm a descendant of my father but not my grandfather

Sorry for misquoting your nonsense..you said he didnt care about being the best QB..I guess being respectable is less attainable than being the best...my bad :whoa:

Do you even know why he actually got federal time?
When you say dumb shyt like dual threat QB are the descendants of Vick YOU ARE OVERSTATING HIS IMPORTANCE DUMB ASS.. not to mention that shyt is wrong..Vick and all these black dual threat QBs are the Children of Randall Cunningham...

No, they're all modeled after Mike Vick..... cause that's who they grew up watching.

and yes, it's common knowledge he got slapped with a RICO charge for financing a dogfighting ring.

keep thinking different, and ignore that literally after Vick hit the NFL, the entire dynamic of QB's coming into the league changed rapidly..

I'll take McNabb.

Vick has had GREAT moments, changed how people look at dual-threats, but he SHOULD have been so much more and would have been if he cared about his craft in ATL.

I consider Vick more of wasted opportunity than I do McNabb, who showed that a black QB didn't have to be an electrifying athlete to be good at the NFL level.

I'll give it to him that Donovan had the more productive career, easily, but Mike was much more influential plus he is from the 757 so therefore he's automatically got my vote.

McNabb had a better career by far, but I think Vick will be remembered by most years and decades from now because he was the first at QB with that type of athletic ability plus how he was able to revive his career after prison time.

Off-topic, but I hope Nike eventually retro Vick's first shoes
