You gotta go through the treatment. Unless you got a Combat action badge or a Purple nurple you gotta take at least the group therapy the docs will write the evidence up. They put you on Traz or something and you're gucci.
Yes, I have a few prescriptions. It sucks because I haven’t done any group therapies though. Because I’m in and out the country, it’s hard to schedule them. I’ll try again soon though.

What's up with this VA math breh?

I have 50, 70, 10, and 10. It's saying im at 90%

Maybe I have to let them finish because they just awarded me 70% today so maybe they not finished adding it all up.
It is initially confusing. I had to read up on it because I thought I was getting railroaded

On that link is the calculator and it describes how they come by the ratings. You are technically at 88% but they do round up.

That last 10% is a motherfukker.

My ratings are

70
50
20
60
10

Which puts me at 96. When I was 90% ( technically (86%) I had to get a another 70% to push me that last 10%

see if you can't have a one on one by zoom. they had a few with me in Colombia and I'm at 100% Play the game with them they'll provide the evidence for your claim. That's how the VA works.

Doing mental health C&Ps today. I have to drive to Athens from Atlanta. Any advice?
When they ask you How are you feeling Don't say Fine say something vague like I'm making it.

Whatever issue you're claiming you'd better have evidence or show signs of it, Meaning if you;re crazy have some evidence that you did something crazy.

But don't overdo it overacting will get a denial.

Just understand that the Doctor is actually on your side if nothing's wrong with you there's no reason form him to have a job so just agree to 90% of his prompts.

Good luck and if they offer you treatment especially counseling take it.

Put in for ED and spoke with a nurse over the phone last week. The claim is currently in progress. An extra $150/month if everything goes well.

I saw my primary doctor a few weeks ago and mentioned it to him. I got a prescription too with about 3 refills, so it's documented.

Hopefully everything works out.

Step 5 of 8: Rating

We’re deciding your claim and determining your disability rating. If we need more evidence or you submit more evidence, your claim will go back to Step 3: Evidence gathering.

ED is the easiest gimme in the VA. Every dude should apply it's not even a rating per se. There's no real evidence required no C&P exam just tell them you got it and almost anything can be a aggravating factor for it. On BP meds? Evidence On PTSD meds? Evidence. Back issues evidence. TBI? Evidence.

If you're rated for anything I'd apply for this. In Fact I suspect soon it will go the way or razor bumps too specific to Men especially Black Men.

I didn't know it went up 50 bucks there's a 2.8% increase in January Happy Veterans Day!

Yeah, I told her that I've been getting symptoms since COVID. Just capped off the top of my head.

I have keloid skin. Can I file a claim for that in relation to razor bumps?

You can try but razor bumps been dead, I had a shaving profile ( non permanent) and I filed for it and no rating.

Maybe Keloid scars is differenr but too specific to Blacks I think to get approval but file and see what happeens.

The Truth
I finally got my C&P’s about to get scheduled. I have to postpone my stuff due to being out the country. I get back and called on August 23rd to have the BA put me back on schedule. It took them up until yesterday to get me back to scheduling.
:aicmon:
But, they didn’t do mental health. In June, I got a mental health appt. I called Liedos yesterday and they said to call the VA. I called the VA and they said they sent me a letter. You can access your letters through VA.gov so I looked at it. They want me to write about my ptsd experience and provide my records. Luckily, I’m diagnosed through the VA citing my experience.
:blessed:
Has anybody gone through this before? Because I have a diagnosis, does that mean I will probably skip the mental health C&P?
:lupe:
My buddy said his migraine claim was just a questionnaire. Dude got 50% based of his questionnaire.
:jbhmm:

I never wrote anything I don’t think. I lost my cool during an appointment and doc was just like :whoa::hubie:

My homie just talked as well. Never even went to the VA before that. We got into an argument and I guess that inspired him to go and follow through.

Got it out the gate even though it took like 10 years to get him there

Nov 6th is when my claim moved to evaluating evidence. It made it to preparing a decision letter today. I may get it tomorrow. VA is moving fast.
