Some of my best concert experiences:
Busta after the Big Bang came out
Snoop last year w/ DJ Quik, Warren G, Rage, DPG and Tha Twinz.
New York State of Mind Tour
I've seen Nas a few times in arenas but my favorite was in a club around the time Hip Hop is Dead came out. It was intimate and was taking requests from the crowd.
Bone thugs doing E.1999 Eternal with everyone except Flesh.
Common and N.E.R.D. in Vancouver in like a forest
Ghostface and Sheek Louch for the Wu-Block tour. I wasnt expecting much from Sheek but he tore it down.

Worst:
Probably Lloyd Banks promoting the Rotten Apple album
KRS-One, not necessarily his fault but he didnt do a soundcheck and he was beefing with the DJ the whole time.
I've probably seen Raekwon solo 3 times and when he's by himself he doesnt really have stage presence, just rapping in the corner of the stage but when hes with the WU he fits right in.

Dope: Ice Cube & WC, Tha Alkaholiks & Xzibit, Kool Keith
Wack: Korn :hhh:
Also Obie Trice because he lost his voice and his hype man had to pretty much do the whole show for him

I've seen Common, I think my favorite was definitely Common. He was in a smaller venue that was alot more intimate. I definitely prefer that to the bigger venues. I couldn't tell you who was the worst but I guess preference wise E40 (not a big fan of his music).

New Orleans --> Las Vegas
keeping it to only hip-hop artists, I've seen:

Hi-Tek & Talib Kweli
Talib Kweli solo
Tash
Nas
Lupe Fiasco
The Roots
G-Eazy
Kanye West
OutKast
Brother Ali
Cage
Wu-Tang Clan
Kendrick Lamar

best show was probably Lupe Fiasco. This was shortly after The Cool dropped. I heard mixed reviews about his live show, but it's still the most fun I've had at a concert til this day. Probably would've given the nod to Kanye if it was in a smaller venue or if I was able to get closer to the stage (it was a festival show and I was like 500 feet from the stage, it's harder for me to get into a show when I'm so far from the stage).

Worst was probably the Wu. They barely did any full songs, just a verse or two from a song before cutting to something else, just an aimless show with no cohesion, and the sound sucked from what I remember.

I went to Kanye's Glow in the Dark show and Jay-Z, Blueprint 3 show...both were dope as fukk. Jay had a segment where he would play the first few bars of a song, everybody would sing along and he be like nah, i dont wanna do that one and skip to the next...and he did that after he did all the "hits"...his bsides are ridiculous

other than that, Ive only been to a summer jam that had Fat Joe, Nappy Roots, Lil Wayne, Birdman, Avant, Busta, & Pdiddy...this was Wayne's 500 degreez era....everybody was solid but nikkas was getting beat the fukk up the whole show, so it was hard to focus.... until Diddy came out. He killlleddd that shyt...to the point everybody left immediately after....but Busta was the headliner...I felt bad for him. he got no love after Puff did what he did.

I would say no one has done more to hurt their legacy than Wu-Tang. Over the years the average Wu-Tang concert has either been cancelled before it happened or started at 1 AM with two members present and 90 random people on stage for no discernible reason. They’re doing somewhat ok with the nostalgia tours but they’re cemented as a WOAT live act.
KRS-One, Heltah Skeltah, JID, ASAP Rocky, Denzel Curry, Jay-Z and Busta Rhymes before he got fat and lazy are all in discussion for incredible live shows

I saw Ghost in London on the Swift and Dangerous tour coming on after MF DOOM (rip) and it was one of the worst sets I've ever seen :pachaha:

Came on an hour late, had Theodore Unit weed carriers rap 80% of his verses then walked off after 30 minutes screaming "they shutting us down y'all".

I've seen a lot. Just briefly off top best live performers

Talib Kweli
Method Man & Redman (Wutang as a whole too)
Naughty by Nature
Common
Ice Cube

Live performing is difficult. I've seen much bigger rap stars than what I've listed above but these stick out to me performance wise. Energy is so important and clarity in vocals.

Talib put on one of the best shows I've ever seen of any musical genre and after his show ended he just stayed on stage DJ'ing and let the crowd come up on stage and dance and he did this for like a solid 30-45min after his show was over. Brought Hi-tek on stage and all that.

I would rank Meth & Red as GOAT though. Them dudes are just on another level. Throwing dime bags of chronic out to the crowd while Red does that one song he has "what you gonna do when you see a bag of weed on the ground? PICK IT UP PICK IT UP!"
