I use a CPA though may need to see if it's worth it as I only have the employment W-2 and use the 1099 forms? for Fidelity (IRA, WeBull, TD Ameritrade and M1).
Anyone do theirs, is a bit complex (self employed, contract of FT employee), plus investments?
Loos like TurboTax may be the best (I have never done it on my own):
TaxAct vs TurboTax Review: Best Features and Options for Your Taxes
Definitely a deal breaker for me if the software can't do this. I didn't trade as much as previous years, but saves at least 2 hours if you do a lot of tradingI made at least 750 trades last year, they let you sign into your account depending on who you use so it imports automatically. Also you can import files. They have your previous returns and you can access it.
First time hearing that...Turbo Tax is shady as hell and I don’t recommend using them at all. I’ve filed with Credit Karma for the last few years and it’s a much better process.
I do my own online. Is it likely I'm missing out on a lot of money brehs?
Thisif you typed this post you can do your taxes. It’s literally data entry. Just go to turbo tax and follow the steps
