I don't know where some of you are from, or where you grew up…..in Southern California, it is not some sort of big deal, like you spotted a leper or something. My moms hairdresser is gay, whenever my mom got her hair done, my sister and I would have to go after school on Fridays as little kids, and sit there for what seemed like hours. Dude was cool, and it was never like 'Oh he's gay', he was just like everyone else, until I realized when I was 13 or so that yeah..dude was gay. But, there was no stigma, or reason for me to hate him…
Also, my first and only male cousin, came out when he was 15 or so, and I swear all the typical signs were there….Not overly feminine, but slightly, and always had girlfriends, even like in elementary school, and early middle school. He told me too, when we were like 12, some pretty gay dream….and I was dismissive, like 'man, it's just a dream', but that shyt threw me off a little. He came out, before he damn near was suicidal, not eating, failing in school, not leaving his room….and I was really proud of him, and his family, esp. his Dad, because they accepted him 100%. Thats my cousin and I love him, I don't give a fukk about his sexuality. Transsexuals is some shyt I can't really fathom, and I would be polite, but less tolerant as far as friends and family. but hating gays is such a strange concept…..I just don't get, unless you are religious zealot, which is foolish in itself, or just a bigot, period….who cares how, and what consenting adults do in the bedroom, or with their lives?
