As in you made SERIOUS improvement/life changes ….

It could be fitness related, money wise, relationship wise, Lifestyle, education, living situation, business, family related etc etc….

What did you do and how? How long did it take? How old were you?

I feel like there’s so many lost people out there… I was once lost as well…

With the world changing around us at a VERY RAPID pace, this could be beneficial for some brother or sister still fighting in the elements

i was 240 lbs at one point..during my physical, my doctor was tryna put me on diabetes pills :whoo:on top of that she was a fat bytch herself :hhh:

i said fukk them pills and hopped in the gym..long story short, now i'm at comfortable 155 lbs and have been maintaining it for a number of years :banderas::banderas: that shyt wasn't no joke though, plateauing, not seeing results for a minute, doin' two a days at one point, etc..really changing my relationship with food was a biggie, now i'm one of those people who read the nutrition facts/ingredients lol fukk it tho i'm just glad i stuck with it

Good for you G… going from pre diabetic to an optimal physique and weight is cool…. But being able to MAINTAIN it is amazing because a lot of people can’t do that!

I read nutrition facts and keep count of my calories during the week as well. And it’s kept me between 150 and 160 for quite a long time. I stay lean with decent musculature year round.

In many cases people who don’t care about health and wellness will try and poke jokes at you for doing so but fukk em….

@ lmaooo at your doctor being overweight herself…

Lost 20 pounds. Took a year though. What I learn was dieting is more effective than exercise but exercising made me a lot more physically fit. I can confidently run 5 miles at a time without stopping and I just feel way better. My cardio health is the best it’s ever been. Dieting is still challenging but intermittent fasting makes it easier.

Currently at a point in my life rn where I’m looking to take it to the next level. Physically I’m good.

Not sure how or what, but I know I want to take that next step career wise. Want to make six figures.

Kinda wanna go back to school and finish my bachelor’s

Definitely want to move out of state to my desired location.

Not sure how to get there tho atm

Nice bro. What did you do to deal with your anger? Sometimes I still have this issue…. Sometimes I can go from super sweet, nice guy to impulsive savage the second someone annoys me or if I feel disrespected

Yeah for absolute fat loss… diet is king….

What type of diet do you follow? And how do you structure/plan cheat meals?

Nice, getting your body in shape is always a great first move.. helps set you up for an improved mind and also gets your confidence up too

What do you do for a living now? And what were you studying for when you were in college?

I still want to move to another state as well. What areas were you interested in?

Going back to school in May, I been studying CLEP shyt in the library on campus, it was a culture shock ngl

Compared to the public library too? :wow:

If I went straight out of high school, I would've dropped out, I'm ready now
Nice… tell me more about CLEP… I’m not that familiar

Yeah college can be great but you definitely gotta tackle it when your heart is really in it..

Education + financial

I went back to college 2x, I learned the value of a proper education (program choice matters)

My friend's that didn't go to college/uni, make more money (10-20k) than me but they work like mad men; 50-65h/week.

I'm not too far behind, only working 35h/week (probably only 20 tbh) making around 65k.

If I play my cards right, ill be making what they make or more in a few years, working way less hours.

Education is one of the most important things in life.

Learning to communicate
exercise
walking away from what's making me angry
Writing down my thoughts

the third one can be difficult, but trust and believe that's probably saved my life

Nice. Yeah learning to walk away can defintely save your life… one of the craziest feelings is walking away from a situation just to get a phone call from one of your friends saying how things got crazy right after you dipped…. How you basically escaped getting arrested or even worse, killed. I’ve been in that situation 2 or 3 times in my life… I feel like it was God trying to spare me….

I been journaling for a year now. That has been helpful for sure

Getting serious in the gym did a whole lot of good for my self-confidence and getting more looks from Women.

Getting serious about running was the true game changer for me. I haven’t stopped with the gym, but running was the icing on the cake. Not only has it solidified my physique but the mental benefits is something I cannot let go.

So for me fitness was a true game changer in my life.
