A close tie between Marcus Garvey and Malcolm X.

Though Garvey was Jamaican and before his arrival in the US, there were pockets of black folks everywhere talking about Pan-Africanism and activism - Garvey took it to the next level. And the Garveyites paved the way for subsequent black leaders (even Malcolm X's parents were Garveyites). Nation of Islam was also influenced by Garvey, ditto MLK.

However, Malcolm X was like Black Jesus.

Garvey isn't African American. Jesse should be replaced.

I'ma still choose MLK in terms of influence and what he has accomplished but, I would side with Malcom and Ali on the basis of their attitude....And ideologies. :yeshrug:
