I would agree with this.

I have less of an issue with a RB in the “first round” and a much bigger issue with a RB in the first 10 picks.

Someone like James Cook gives you 80-90% of the offensive output of Bijan, costs you significantly less draft capital, and allows you to build out other, more impactful parts of your team.

So if you want to sit here and disagree with my philosophy like you started out this comment, that’s fine. We can disagree and move on.

Though I’ve been dragged into this thread all day over a point that simply does not matter. And that is how good Bijan is. I don’t give a shyt how good he is. And he’s REALLY GOOD. But the value was bad. And I firmly believe that.
But you're wrong the value was not bad you are getting All Pro production out of your top 10 pick.

It depends on mad shyt that is out of the players control if that team can build a SB winning team around him

There are many many factors but thats it from me dawg we can agree to disagree

You guys are reading the words but not comprehending them.

It’s not about the player. It’s about the value. The Eagles did not pay the price for Saquon that the Giants did.
And what price did the Giants pay?

If you wanna say don't take a RB high in the 1st rd if you have mad other holes elsewhere than I totally agree. The Giants took him 2nd overall and had a terrible offensive line and no WRs :mjlol:

The Giants are completely dysfunctional

The point is that it doesn’t matter because no running back, not even a generational one is worth taking in the top ten picks because you don’t need one to win.

You play to win.
That’s the whole point.

Why would you take a running back 8th overall when you can win as many games or more with a running back taken on Day 2 or 3? And the history proves this.

You refuse to answer that simple question.
That’s more of an indictment on the front office than on him. He literally wins them games
