But he hasnt released one in close to 20 years if Im not mistaken

There's probably some people out there collecting specific ones of certain artists etc.

Been slowed down on buying cd's like I used to in my early 20's but I still cop Deftones/Mastodon/Alice'n'Chains shyt off the bat with a few other artists from time to time. Copped Krit's Cadillacactica and I've got Rae Sremmurd and Red Fang's new album in my Amazon cart.

Despite the fact that Amazon offers you the option of just copping the Mp3's I'm still a bit stuck on the antiquated notion of buying an album to support an artist I really like that might not be caking off of sales like that even though they been phoning it in with the Linear notes for over a decade now.

I copped all these yesterday

I really like CDs because of the packaging they come with. It Was Written comes with a rhymebook, Doggystyle came with an amusing comic strip, All Eyez on Me has really cool photos and graphics of 2Pac, and so on.

Also I notice the quality and loudness of the music is better than the 320kbps MP3s I download.
