Stop goalpost moving. You say you can't Kobe's whole career and only first 10 years

But just the post before you said

So which one is it? The first 10 years or the "2 in 20(years) like you originally said? Don't switch it to "the first 10 years" you wanted to add Kobe's full 20 year career and if we do that kobe has been averaging actually 26+ since 01. By the time KD even came in the league kobe already had scoring stretches seen by no one since the days of Prime Jordan and Wilt. Kobe highest PPG in the playoffs is 32 on 46%. KD? 30.8 on 44%

I only did that because you moved the goal post and only put up kobes numbers from 2001 and on originally I compared their careers but to be as just as possible I compared their first 10 years respectively and the numbers don't lie

Durant - 4 scoring titles (10 seasons)
Bryant - 2 scoring titles (20 seasons)

Durant - 27 ppg
Bryant - 25 ppg

Durant - 49% fg%
Bryant - 45% fg%

Durant - 38% 3pt%
Bryant - 33% 3pt%

Durant - 88% ft%
Bryant - 84% ft%

:usure:
Yep I think they are confusing volume shooting with scoring lol.

KD averaged 30.8 while shooting 45% and playing in 11 games

KD is not a better finisher. KD has more scoring titles because Kobe was not the 1st option on his team until he was 26 and he got hurt that year. Kobe had 2 healthy years without Shaq and before Pau and Bynum and he won both times. Moreover, Durant won multiple scoring titles averaging under 30. Kobe never had that luxury. Every think else you said is correct. Kobe had a better handle and was better at attacking the basket too. @2Quik4UHoes These dudes sit here and act like Kobe didn't average 28 once he became a starter. So much revisionist history.
KD is damn near LeBron tier as a finisher, dude is a legit 7 footer and has been shooting around 75-80% at the rim for years now. It's not arguable.

Kobe is going to get props for his explosive scoring outbursts in '06 but any star player would have put up huge numbers if asked to shoot 25+ times a game.

KD's February 2014 without Westbrook
16 games, 36 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 55% FG, 44% 3PT, 12-4 record

KD is better at every aspect of scoring except the post, and is more efficient. Just flat out bigger and a better shooter.

I'd only put Mike above KD as a scorer.

I wanna say KD cause hes a better shooter but he don't have them crazy scoring games like Kobe do :patrice:

So Kobe :blessed:

How could he....If he got anywhere close to 40 points Russell would get mad and go that's enough. No more shots for you. My ball.

AND kobe averaged 30 on 45% in his championship year of 09 and 30 on 45% in when he went to the finals in 08. That damn near the same as KDs highest and kobe did those same numbers twice. KD averaged 30 once. I didn't move no goal post either I posted kobe scoring drives which is direct to the thread content. I also said "since 01" since that's when kobe hit his prime and it actually erases Kobe's first 5 years in the league. KD didn't make the OFFs until a couple of years into his career.

KDs second highest is 29 on 46% Kobe's 4th highest is 29 on 46% so please tell me the point you making?
KD had a higher FG% in the finals I can give him that. That's where it counts.m, although Kobe averaged 32 on lower %

:mjlol: THIS RIGHT HERE
IS A PURE EXAMPLE OF WHY PPL
DONT fukk WITH BRON STANS.

HOW IS HE "DAMN NEAR" BRON TIER
WHEN THEY SHOOT THE SAME PERCENTAGE AT THE RIM CAREER WISE
AND KD HAS BEEN BETTER
IN EACH OF THE LAST 4 SEASONS?

You just obsessed with Bron stans :francis:

I said damn near LeBron-tier because there is a noticeable difference in volume. LeBron has attempted hundreds of more shots at the rim than KD in any given season, and has led the league in three point plays as well.

And they don't shoot the same career wise. LeBron's been shooting 70%+ at the rim since his second season.

:russ: KD IS THE MUCH MORE SKILLED SCORER OF THE 2...
OF COURSE HE DOESNT ATTEMPT
AS MANY SHOTS AT THE RIM AS BRON
WHEN HE CAN SCORE FROM ANYWHERE ON THE FLOOR.

:mjlol:BRON SHOT 38% FROM THE FIELD BEYOND 3 FEET FROM THE RIM THIS SEASON.

THEY BOTH SHOOT EXACTLY 73% FOR THEIR CAREERS
AND KD HAS BEEN BETTER THE PAST 4 SEASONS.

Taking away 5 years of a players career because it doesn't suit your argument is moving the goal post

I really can't see any way you pick Kobe here. KD is too long (pause) and too versatile. His height and shooting ability give him a range of options Kobe just doesn't even have access too. KD has the potential to go down as the greatest scorer ever

I know KD's a better scorer :heh:

I just said I had him second next to Mike in scoring. fukk is you arguing with me about?

Volume matters when you rank. It's what separates Curry from all the other great shooters. LeBron is still taking a hundreds of shots outside the paint. Teams main goal has always been keep LeBron out the paint yet he still shot 80% at the rim on over 600 attempts this year. KD had a season where he took 96 attempts in a injury riddled season yet you still counting that? Stop it. I'm not gonna argue about semantics. Everybody knows LeBron is the best in the paint. KD and Giannis right up there.

:russ:COMPARING PAINT VOLUME TO THREE POINT VOLUME IS
SOME OF THE SILLIEST shyt IVE SEEN.

BRON ATTEMPTS MORE IN THE PAINT
BECAUSE HIS GAME IS LIMITED.

HE HAS NO CHOICE BUT TO BULL DOZE HIS WAY INTO THE LANE.

HE ALSO PLAYS WITH A BUNCH OF GREAT SHOOTERS
SO THEY CANT CLOG THE PAINT ON HIM
OR HE HITS THE OPEN MAN
SO WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?

KD FINISHES JUST AS WELL IF NOT
BETTER
AND DOESNT ATTEMPT AS MANY
BECAUSE HE DOESNT NEED TO.

HES GONNA SHOOT GOOD PERCENTAGES FROM EVERY DISTANCE ON THE COURT
UNILKE MR. 38% FROM BEYOND 3 FEET.
