How hard is it to put a ball in a basket? It's easier to dribble a ball with your hands than your feet. A lot harder to score in soccer as well. Don't yall think soccer is a more difficult sport to master than basketball?

Because it's hard enough comparing players from different eras in the same sport, let alone players from different eras in different sports. The variables of 'measurement' are endless and are simply unmeasurable. The whole premise of this thread is unmeasurable.
"This is the equivalent of LeBron breaking all of Wilt's scoring records." Let's have a look - he'd have to average at least 50.5 PPG in a full season + scoring at least 101 points in a game (plus all of Wilt's scoring career-records that can be levelled out in a season) - it can't be done, certainly not in this day and age.

Scoring in football is much more difficult than scoring in basketball. Messi's goal rate is outstanding, which is what everyone is saying. Look at the numbers @SwagKingKong posted

Work on your reading comprehension. OP asked who's the better player in their respective sport, not who's the best athlete between the two, which is pretty fukking obvious.
If black Americas started playing soccer we would dominate that shyt too.

You really think size makes a great athlete?
