For the purpose of the thread premise though, I'm gonna agree with Pharoahe Monche.

Creativity, voice inflection, INSANE wordplay, breath control, delivery, plus he can actually harmonize/sing giving him an extra element 95% of rappers don't have.

The fact that he was in a group with Prince Po alone should tell you the caliber of skill he possesses.

But artist like Pac and face. Seem like whatever album they have that is closest to east coast sound gets praised as their best.
