its arguable that Kakarot was a worse father to Goten, than Bardock was to him. And Bardock literally had to be convinced to see him in the hospital nursery.

Most definitely Krillin is the best father in the whole damn series, maybe it's because he's the only sane nikka in the show. Piccolo gets an honorary mention, he grew up without a daddy just like goku but he turned out an even better father figure than goku.

that saying lineage = bad dad-- krillin ended up being the best dad

look at the cycle of poor parenting:

Bardock - abandons both sons and they grow up to be the Kane and Abel of the saiyan race
Goku - lets gohan do whatever as a kid and he plays dress up as a teenager (no father)...goten destroys cities for fun and even fought the ghost of hitler like
Gohan - pan is a mess and has no reason to be fighting and stuff, hit the books
