I'm from here, and I was a Buff fan back in the Rashan Salaam and 5th Down days. They aren't a STRONG program by any means...but they were always at least competitive. Under Hawkins leadership they became one of the worst programs in the nation.

He was stubborn no doubt, especially when it came to his son

Tim Floyd with the bulls was pretty amazingly bad...I don't think he won 50 total games over 3 years...he had no idea how to actually coach and none of the players respected him...i remember how bad they suck because i witnessed what i now know to be the first form of "fukkery" i saw in the NBA where dikkey Simpkins came out of a game without being subbed...just motioned for somebody to come in for him like ...Floyd went down to the bench to talk to him like and whatever dikkey told him made Floyd go like ...i been looking for a clip of this forever but cannot find it...

Rod Marinelli for the Lions was pretty bad to...it is just about mathmatically impossible to go 0 - 16 but he did it...

Mike Leach been at WSU only one complete season, and turned that entire program around.... and WSU was in far worse shape.

Hawkins & Peterson both arrived in 2001.......

Colorado was one of the better teams in the Big 12 North for most of the early to mid00's. OU played them a coupl times in the Big 12 title game, Texas played them too. They were always a formidable opponent in the Big 12 up until 4-5 years ago.

I actually hate that we lost them from the conf.

dan hawkins. had chris petersen on staff at boise, who clearly was the brains of the team. piggybacked off petersens knowledge and turned it into a gig at a then big time football program, he turned a team that was pretty damn consistent and successful into hot garbage literally instantly, and they havent recovered since

do you know that dan hawkins got canned this year even in the cfl after 4 games? thats how horrible he is
