refs be damned, Pacers gotta make free throws and the people they expect to the guys like Hali/Siakam can't have long stretches of not even trying to put the ball in the hoop. Also, gotta make sure people who were playing hot get minutes. I've been enjoying what i've seen so far from Hali/McConnell back court. McConnell with them cp3-esque middys

being 5/8 from 3 at the half and ending the game 7/11 from 3 when the ball is always in your hand is some nasty work

two playoff road losses by a combined 13 points, it sucks we aint get one but overall this is still doable. Can't come out at home and have these weak ass lapses where you on the short end of a 20-4 run tho. Even still, even when they drop points on us in bunches, we right there

always thought knicks in 6, still feel that way but if the Pacers stop shooting themselves in the foot and pissing down their legs when shyt gets tough the series could turn around. aint like they gettin blown out and can't come back

I kind of want the Knicks and Knicks fans to think the Celtics are like the Pacers. If Brunson is struggling to score on Bob Cousy McConnell, imagine what Tatum, Brown, White, and Jrue are going to do

You know the Knicks staff and knowledgeable basketball fans who support the knicks aren't thinking "the Sixers are like the Pacers are like the Celtics are like the Wolves." That's troll talk.

We went in knowing the sixers would give Brunson serious problems because they can throw length at him. We knew that balls palsy, bob marley or whatever the fukk was plaguing Embiid wasn't going to keep him from averaging 30+ pts per game. Maxey went OFF and it was easy to see he was a problem. The rest of the Sixers were trash. We exposed that.

We went in knowing the pacers play up tempo. Unlike many analysts, many of us knew that the history of playoffs lean towards great defenses severely slowing down a team's pace. If that's their strength..."RUR ROOOH." Also, we have trivialized their big men and you can't win if you allow 6'4 guards to get rebounds.

We will go in knowing the celtics were the most formidable team in the east. They are the team that "experience" is an advantage considering they've been successful. We know it's going to be a fight and we'll need OG and Hart to play their best defense on Tatum and Brown. We also know it'll be the true hostile environment that can alter momentum and team confidence.

No one is underestimating these teams. And the refs are not responsible for the sixers and the pacers, who are supposed to be more talented than NY, allowing these games to fall out of their favor playing like bytches.

really tho, it aint the refs are terrible it's that there's been at least two calls that potentially changed game-outcomes recently (PHI more than this one but still) that went inexplicably in y'alls favor. i'd respect it more if y'all were just like "yeah we got those, sucks to suck" but y'all tryna say "nuh uh" and validate it by saying "look at all this other shyt too!" is...come on man

I think a lot of the reffing inconsistency is on Silver. I get why he made the change after the all star game - he had a right to be pissed - but reffing is hard enough without changing the way rules are enforced halfway through the season. It instantly pit the refs and players against each other, and now none of them are on the same page.

They did call another phantom kick ball on a steal
They did call a flop for Brunsun

The push in the back didn't lead to a turnover. Any contact was incidental. Why cry over this play? Y'all still had an opportunity to score.

Kickball? If it's the 1 I'm thinking of, the ball changed trajectories and a sound could be heard that is consistent with a ball being kicked.
But wow what a momentum changer. A kicked ball. Indy getting jobbed out in these streets.

These refs SUCK. Refs could have called the Maxey travel...oh well. Refs could have called that other Turner screen that would have helped the knicks...oh well. Refs should have kicked Embiid...oh well.
