If you've been saying for decades: "We aren't the problem, they are the problem" it's very hard to go back on that and admit your part in the dysfunction.
Men and women have pointed the finger at one another for so long, it's gonna take a miracle for Black America to get back to pre 1970s level of community. We don't have the guidance to get back on track. Lack of direction - not lack of time - is the problem.
Personally, I don't see it happening because a lot of quality Black men and Black women have already left the "gender war" and moved on to enjoy their short time on earth, whether in America or overseas. They aren't actively thinking about the ills of the Black community anymore, it's not a good way to spend your life. It's the dysfunctional people who love blaming the other side that are sticking around to keep the fire lit.
