You should watch the longer video. It’s about balancing gender roles and power dynamics within Black relationships. Like someone else said, it’s really occurring in all relationships now regardless of race. But it’s more long standing in our community due to historical racism and discrimination and the way that has affected the economics of Black households. So your point of view is likely in line with the point of the video.
