Pau gasol is better than anyone timmy played with

i think that seals it

Both 6x all stars...both 4x all nba

Interestingly enough, I doubt Gasol is a 6x all star if he doesn't play in LA

Parker had the better career, was better in the postseason, went toe to toe with all time greats at PG, and was the sole reason SA was able to compete with LA after the 3peat

Tony Parker is prob a top 10 PG all time based on his postseason work alone...Gasol is not a top 10 PF all time

I'm a Lakers fan and I know that Tony P was a menace

Duncan was a plug in, cornerstone franchise player immediately. Won a chip in year 2, was an all NBA, all defense level player every year except for his final one. He's over Kobe pretty handily.

We saw them on the same court plenty of times...the consensus was never that Timmy was better than Kobe in real time

Kobe was the best player on the court more times than Tim was when they played each other

Lebron. He's consistently ranked top 3 all-time and all the stats/accolades favor him.

Except Bron has a losing record against TD in then playoffs whereas Kobe has a winning record against TD when it mattered :mjlol:

TD at 22 had an outstanding Finals wheras at 22 Bron played like trash in the finals. But nah, y’all don’t wanna go there :mjlol:

lol that's like saying Dirk or Nash is better than Kobe bc Kobe has a losing record against Nash/Dirk when it mattered

Leave out the fact Kobe never had an even squad playing Nash in the playoffs and only played the Mavs once in the playoffs his whole career and it was after back to back titles and 3 straight finals :mjlol: nice false equivalency there. When the Suns and Lakers met in the WCF what happened????

But I forgot, Kobe losing a 3-1 lead with smush Parker to nash is fair game but TD losing a 2-0 lead while trying to defend a title against the Lakers is to never be mentioned :mjlol:

but @Rhakim broke it down and told you that Timmy's squad was garbage/dealing with injuries when he played the Lakers and lost and you didnt seem to care tho...

And in 2003 the Lakers were tired from a 3 peat, in 06-07 his team was trash and in 2011 they were tired from 3 straight finals but y’all don’t seem to care. I already broke down TD getting a pass for so much shyt but y’all don’t seem to care. Thanks for proving my point y’all down Kobe for everything while giving TD a pass for everything.

Kobe losing as a #7 seed to the Suns in his prime somehow diminishes his career but TD failing to defend a title 5 different times is all excusable :mjlol:

because no1 actually cares. it's a weird narrative :manny: he was able to get 5 titles with much less help than Kobe

also in 2011, they were the heavy favorites. even down 3-0, the narrative was that the Lakers could still win

He only made the all star game once in 6 seasons in Memphis, so yeah he wouldn’t have been 6x without playing with Kobe.

David Robinson was a former MVP of the league, and made 3 all nba teams when Duncan was on the Spurs

Was never quite the same player after Olajuwon did him dirty in the playoffs, but was still an all nba /all defense talent in Duncan's early career.

So Kobe losing as a #7 to a #2 is a fair narrative, but TD never defending a title, losing to an 8 seed, losing with HCA advantage and losing 2-0 leads to teams they had better records than is all a weird narrative :mjlol:

calling TD the best player on the 2014 squad when he was the 3rd leading scorer and poor defensive rating is a weird narrative but Kobe being a sidekick while averaging 30ppg and taking over every 4th qtr while Shaq clanked FTs is a fair narrative :mjlol:

TD had four different HOF teammates in his career but that’s “much less help” :mjlol:

2001 Spurs won 58 games and were the #1 seed and 2002 they won 58 games and were the #2 seed.....but hey giving them injury and "trash" excuses is a fair narrative :laff: 2001 squad was 6th in Off rating and 1st is Def rating, 2002 squad was 9th in Off rating/2nd in def rating

excuse after excuse after excuse for this guy :dead:

Im pretty sure the Spurs were heavy favorites after winning 60 games and playing the #8 seed grizzles :laff: excuse after excuse
