Vividly. That backfired on 50 so bad. Graduation pushed the sound forward, was innovative, borderline classic, and sold more. 50 was the one that had the sakes battle idea too and Ye seemed like he didn’t care about it. 50 dropped an album that wasn’t as good as either of his previous 2 and I feel like that was the beginning downfall of his career.

I Get Money was a dope single though and this joint that Havoc produced was fire.

Man. Graduation is pretty dope. I can see it not being some people’s favorite because it helped usher in the stadium hip-hip sound and had a few non hip-hip sounding joints like the Coldplay joint and Stronger. Drunk and hot girls was trash and big brother was corny.

However...can’t tell me nothing, everything I am, good morning, Barry bonds, the glory, and champion are all pretty dope straightforward hip hop joints.

And flashing lights and I wonder were both solid experimental joints. And Good life was a fun single.
