Are some of these new? I don’t remember the Neil Degrass Tyson one and I saw that this morning cause it was in my recommendations
they were seen as corny as hell when they first started but they hit a stride and had some really funny skits
The football player name skit is a classic on par with any chappelle skit
Overall I think chappelle show was funnier and def had more impact but there were plenty of trash or mid skits on there and most of them have aged like milk ie: rkelly skit. “Doodle butter”

Always hated them since madtv. The show literally fell off after they came in.

K&P = great actors with decent comedic ability. Skits always have good quality but not always funny
Chappelle = decent actor with great comedic ability. Skits are usually funny but sometimes it's a little off with acting/delivery

I can't even think of a funny SNL skit that didn't include a celebrity guest.

their humor is a little more cerebral than Robin Harris—their acts aren’t comparable.
Agreed. I do appreciate the polish and skill they bring to these skits even if the humor doesn’t hit me as hard as Chappelle’s did.
I think their work outside of the sketch-show is stronger though.

You're right but their hits, for the most part, weren't super great or anything. All of it was basically saved by them both being good actors and naturally funny together.
I liked the show but Chappelle Show was easily better. I don't think K&P once hit the highs of Chappelle's show or even really came close to it.
The criticism is weird.
Every critique can be applied to every other sketch comedy show.
And yall saying it was corny and cac-humor, forgetting that Chapelle show had a lot of white fans too
Everything black ppl do is gonna have white fans. But the humor was never aimed for them; it catered primarily to a black audience
