Miami was starting Joel Anthony, the corpse of Mike Bibby, had crap coaching and no bench whatsoever. They had HUGE holes.
Where are Golden State's holes? Their biggest weaknesses are a league-average center and only 3-4 solid bench guys. They are nothing like Miami.
And Dallas WAS a complete team. That was the whole point. They had a veteran PG, a great scoring SG, a capable two-way SF, a superstar at PF, a rim-stopper at center, multiple scorers, multiple shooters, multiple ball-handlers, and multiple perimeter defenders. They had no weaknesses at all and just ran through defending champs Lakers, a stacked Thunder team, and the next-year's champs Miami. The Lakers/Thunder only gave them one loss combined.
This Cavs team still doesn't have a decent SG (unless JR comes back and gets healthy and in rhythm), no backup PG, no backup big man. Their only real distributor is Lebron, their only rim-stopper is Lebron, and he has to be their leading scorer and primary defenders on 3s and 4s too. They aren't a complete team in the way that Dallas was. That being said, they're still a better team than Dallas was, but Dallas never had to contend with a team nearly as stacked as Golden State.
This GS team statistically one of the best teams Ive ever seen. Better than the '15 and '16 teams. Honestly might be the best offensive team ever at this rate.

gs has no rim protection and you can't put a fake rim protector out there who has no physicality versus a fully staffed bron and cleveland in the finals.
we already know what happens when durant has three scorers in the finals and no real rim protection.
he loses,...same will happen when the cavs play gs again.
if gs never gets any rim protection.
gs is poised to lose if they never get any full rim protection.
we know cleveland's lineup that can secure the title can exist adequately without mozgov or a rim protector past tt.
