Drill is basically a evolved demonic UK Grime, that spread like the crack epidemic in Chicago and ended up being the most fukking destructive form of music known in existence. And even with UK Drill, it was more about knife work, money, repping whatever the hell they have over there, and workout tunes.

WTF is this? UK “drill” is just a remixed version of the shyt they’ve been doing since 2000 with grime. Chicago Drill is just a hyper extreme violent version of 2000 ATL trap music. Completely different

Breh that sound that UK claimed that they birthed still came from Chicago. They literally just bit off one producer's sound (well 2 if you include dj kenn) and ran with it. That's why their beats all sound the same
. And most of them brooklyn cats were just doing their best g herbo/lil bibby/ lil jay00/ young pappy impressions, just with a NY accent. They weren't originally jacking the uk.
