So I have been reading up on Magnesium and apparently 80% of the population does not take enough of it. I have been having a really tense pain in my shoulder muscles, I guess I am :flabbynsick: now too, so I need something to ease the tension and apparently Magnesium can help with that.

I just bought Magnesium Oxide tablets today. Took one today and I can honestly say my shoulder feels less tense, not completely relaxed, but less tense.

Maybe this stuff actually works. :ehh:

Anyone here take Magnesium? Magnesium Oxide or Magnesium Citrate?

Which brand? What dosage?

What are the results you are getting?

Also helps with mood and whole bunch of other things.

I take magnesium supplements, and have a bottle of magnesium oil that I apply topically too, but I use both for my skin; Had a case of Seborrheic Dermatis around my eyes and face( which is supposed to be a chronic rash with no real treatment) and using both basically cured me, and before hand my dermatologist couldn't find a single thing to help my rash.

While using both I noticed that my muscles wouldn't be as sore after working out, and the random muscle spasms that I would sometimes get in my legs and shoulders disappeared. Turns out excessive muscle soreness, muscle spasms, and certain skin conditions ( like my seborrehic Dermatitis ) can be a sign of magnesium deficiency. Also, If I have a pimple or have a bump that's swelling, using magnesium oil can get rid of both rather quickly. So yeah, I definitely see the benefits of using magnesium supplements. My suggestion to op though is to use Magnesium Citrate, not Oxide, the body doesn't absorb Magnesium Oxide that well.

Magnesium oil is the way to go if you are going to go with just magnesium. Just be aware that it takes a little while to get used to and will tingle. You'll feel a slight burn and itchiness, but it works. I use Raw Cacao powder in my morning smoothie. Raw Cacao is high in magnesium. You can have dark chocolate and that will have about 80% of your daily magnesium. Depending on how often you take it you're not going to feel instant results. If this is more about inflammation then I would also take Turmeric.

I take a calcium, magnesium, zinc supplement 2-3 times a day. I stack cissus or boswellia serrata with it. I'm 35 mane, I can catch a flight to snap city if I don't stay on top of my game. I have reoccurring sciatica and IT band issues and that stack has kept those two issues at bay.

If you plan on using magnesium make sure its orotate or chelated. Magnesium oxide and most other forms are worthless.
