Intro to vol 1 > than his whole career
I’m not really surprised that a lot of southern rap fans are not into the JayZ or Nas type of east coast artist…
They more into the beat first, lyrics last
So volume 2 went 6 times plat off Brooklyn aloneHe's right.. nobody outside of the Tri-State/Philly really listens to Jay Z like that.

I’ve been listening to rap since birth. I can tell by your post you are butt hurt that Jay Z would humble Boosie if they both left their respectful region.I can tell by this post you just started listening to rap in 2003 or 2004.
By this post, it let's me know that you weren't even around in real time to listen to rap, and if you was to say that you were around, I bet you $1000 you could not listen to rap music as a kid.
Jay-z was not a household name until 1999-2000 in the Southern region. Big Pimpin made it cool for Jay-z to be bumped down here like that. Before that, nobody down south or on the West gave two shyts about what JayZ had going on.
I'll let you know something, Jay Z dropped in 1996, and that album went gold or something.
Dudes down here were going Gold with no major, dudes down here were selling 100k-300k with no major pushing them.
Before UGK co-signed off on JayZ and made it cool for folks to bump his shyt, he was not on nikkas radars down here.
The only people in their feelings are you southern dudes always making irrelevant post.Folks get into their feelings. In real time, if you're leaving the club, or an event, a football game, high school or college, a college party, greek, etc, goin to a dice game, going to a house party, the local club, inside the club, smoking with your patnas at the crib or out and about, or just kicking it at a kick back, in real time from 1999-2007 in the Southern region, it's a 98-100% chance that you will have Boosie playing than Jay Z.
If folks are driving a cutlass, regal, box Chevy, mustang, charger, Chrysler, folks who had 6x9s, 6 12s or 4 10s, these folks in real time during that era would be playing Boosie over Jay-Z
Jay Z would not be getting more play down here during that time era.
Wayne also during that run, took the place of Jay. He was played
This is what the argument is about.
He's talking in this realm and he's right.
Yea and all that rappers are light years passed B list rapper Boosie.Facts times 10
