That's some 30-40 million people, many of whom voted for him, the remainder who didn't vote for him will also see him as the "hero". Many of those in this group don't care about politics, but will think "trump cool with me"

I'm not expecting my checks on time but I'd be surprised if the checks didn't go out USAA and Navy Fed said that anyone that has direct deposit with them will get zero interest loans on their checks.

My checks are routed through Charles Schwab what I expect will happen is the government will ask the banks to put the money in people's accounts and the Government will give the banks the money when the shutdown ends so no one who works for the government feels the pain.
