Both should be first ballot hall of famers if you ask me.

There are tiers for Hall of Famers however. Undertaker resides on a higher one than Kane IMO, that gimmick shouldn't have survived past say 1995 but it's still here and still matters even in the small doses we get of it in 2016. The big evil era is proof Mark Callaway the performer can actually wrestle outside the confines of being dead.

but that doesn't mean Kane needs to be shyt on.

Kane is a successful spinoff that doesn't look or seem like a carbon copy like Hogan, Scott Steiner or Jesse Ventura do of Billy Graham which shows how good Glenn Jacobs is. His character has dealt with some REAL bullshyt booking at times and still kept being able to be used. That's because of the performer

He's always generous to a fault with his character from Rey Mysterio to the Great Khali he'll do whatever to help, and from all accounts he seems like one of the genuine good dudes in the business. .. history is going to be very kind to him for that fact.

conquering north korea for nice tight asian p*ssy
Undertaker

It's so not close its ridiculous

Yes Kane had a great character too in his prime and was super over like Taker. But even that doesn't put them on the same level. Pretty much everything Kane has done Taker has done more times and better.

Let's not even talk about their evolution over the course of their careers.

true but undercard matches get lost in the shuffle of my collective memory sometimes. i'm sure kane had some great matches from that era, i just don't much remember them. if that suggests he wasn't as good a wrestler to you then so be it.

although i'm sure if you rattled off taker's most classic matches the majority of them would involve him and another main event caliber star. it's not like he was one of those guys who could just carry any bum.
Kane has had matches with HHH, the Rock, Kurt Angle, and a crop the new guys.

this entire thing is stupid. Kane is a hall of famer, he is no where near the level of the undertaker.

It's Taker. Has anyone ever heard of nikkaKane? :usure:

On the real though, Kane is a legend. His career had the potential to be SO MUCH greater than it was. He was involved in shytty angles and shyt that made him lose his luster over the years. By all means, he should have been just as much of a badass as Taker was built to be over the years.

Taker obviously has yhe greater legacy and moments/matches, but watching 03-04 Raws lately im realizing that physically Kane could do just as much as Taker in the ring and looked just as imposing. He also played his character very well. Talent wise i dont see a big gap.

Kane is just more powerful.

He never had finesse like Mark Calaway had

I love both but I always mark out more for Taker.

But both guys are all time greats/legends in my book so I don't like to say one is better than the other :yeshrug:
