I'm inclined to say Ray Lewis but I was a HUGE fan of Derrick Brooks.

Brooks played OLB though. I think... at least that's how I remember him. That's a slightly different assignment

I'm shocked that LaVar Arrington didn't become a superstar. He was huge, could run sideline to sideline...he made some incredible plays in college.

I love Derrick Brooks. The man is absolutely fantastic but I'd probably still choose Ray Lewis as the better player. I think it's comparable if you think of their impact for their respective teams but Derrick Brooks is probably best compared to Ed Reed in terms of impact and importance rather than Ray. The Ray for Tampa was Sapp.

I'm a U fan, and Ray is one of my favorite player ever

But Brooks doesn't get his due for re-defining the 4-3 WLB position.

He covered backs, Tight Ends, slot receivers. He spied and ran down Vick. He hit like a MLB, yet possessed the speed and ballhawking skills of a safety.
