I actually liked Sheamus winning in 2012, because it was unpredictable and he at least had some shine at that point. Of course, they could have given it to Jericho but I had no problem with that.

Ever since then, the winner has been incredibly obvious, especially when they ended the brand split and only had one world title. Or in the case of this year, just random for the sake of being random. It's like they knew they had no one to give it to, threw up their hands and said, "Hey. Isn't GOARTon doing some Wyatt shyt? Let's do that shyt at Mania."

And if they're not going with that, the real plan is to have Cena/Orton at WrestleMania for the first......time......ever. Once in a lifetime. :troll: :troll: :troll:

Batista in 05 was logical and well done

actually feels like the last guy who won the rumble and was then rightfully elevated by it

And scripted or not, it had one of the GOAT rumble finishes imo.

I was there at new The Save Mart Center in Fresno :blessed:

The end definitely wasn't scripted but of course Batista was expected to win it either way , which everyone was cool with . I was sitting by the entrance ramp .

That whole night was lit with fukkery :bryan:

The batista win is tbe last time vince had real faith in he rumble.

Its been a tool to bang together a quick main event since.

Raitings have been dropping since too :francis:
Ratings have been dropping 16 years now. Roman and bray are the only guys under 35 with mania plans that Vince played a large hand in creating. That says a lot :francis:

Rey mysterio winning was dope.

Taker winning was dope as well with the whole showdown with Shawn Michaels.

Batista was probably the last up & coming superstar that really needed that rumble win to elevate his status in the game.:yeshrug:
He was :beli:. It could have been for Rey, and if he stayed, maybe 2010 for Jeff Hardy could have worked too. Bryan would have benefitted heavily too if he won, but he didn't need it as it turns out.

Last night

It wasn't a part-timer (which the rumble thread creator based his sh-t around really), the match wasn't bad in any regard, it built up braun stroman, made baron corben look good, even if bray isn't in the main event it set something up with him and luke harper

but you don't hear me tho :sas2:
