This must be a UK/European phenomenon.Nigerians don't like Jamaicans and vice-versa, it's equivalent to the Indian/Pakistani rivalry.
I've never heard of a Nigeria/Jamaica rivalry/feud over here in the U.S

It's kinda different where I'm from. Houston might be the best example because we have the highest concentration of Nigerian out of any metro area in the U.S and Houston has a high population of middle- upper class black., but here even the most successful Nigerians mingle amongst other Nigerians and even blacks before whites or Asians. Thanks to the People's Clubs and other cultural groups plus family ties, cultural ties remain strong; also, the richest Nigerian kids will be friends and peers with the poorest without much of a class gap.
And from what I've seen kids born to a Nigerian and a American blacks are pretty much accepted as Nigerians if they want to be.
It's probably different depending on where you go.

I'm a second generation Ghanaian

We do, but most Nigerian kids will make fun of you for being a c00n and are friends with the American black kids. As much as American blacks think we don't like them, most Nigerian kids kinda idolize American blacks in certain ways.Do y'all have the Nigerian c00ns we have here![]()
I like everyone...So does that mean you like Nigerians now![]()

I like everyone...

That's basically what we're doing, getting high paying jobs ever here and funnelling money back home to buy real estate and businesses over there.
Nigeria is about to experience a huge economic boom and period of growth.
“…we have virgin’s ill-fated footsteps by setting up a new airline in Africa in conjunction with Nigerian government…the details of the doomed attempts to crack the Nigerian market in the 2000s is better imagined…we put …together a very good airline-the first airline in West Africa that was ever IOSA/IATA operational safety audit accredited but unfortunately it got tied down to the politics of the country…we led the airlines for 11 years…
“We fought daily battle against government agents who wanted to daily make fortune from us, politicians who saw the government 49% as a meal to seek for all kinds of favour…watchdogs (regulatory body) that didn’t know what to do and persistently asking for bribes at any point…Nigeria people are generally nice but the politicians are very insane…that may be irony because the people make up the politicians…
“But those politicians are selfish…we did make N3billion for the federal government of Nigeria during the joint venture…realising that the government didn’t bring nothing to the table/partnership except dubious debts by the previous carrier, Nigeria Airways…The joint venture should have been the biggest African carrier by now if the partnership was allowed to grow, but the politicians KILLED it…Nigeria is a country we SHALL NEVER consider to doing business again..”

it's sad though. We do, but most Nigerian kids will make fun of you for being a c00n and are friends with the American black kids. As much as American blacks think we don't like them, most Nigerian kids kinda idolize American blacks in certain ways.

That's one specific industry that has recently been given to the private sector after decades of being run by the public sector. Even when it was in the private sector government bureaucracies and agents will always have their hands in air transportation. As @Chris.B said, it will never happen, Country should be better than it is but there's just too much corruption, that's why Richard Branson stopped doing business with them and proceeded to give that ether a few years back.
it's sad though.
This is great. Your attitude and approach is ideal. I have family friends in Houston and Dallas and can't lie I was shocked when I went there because I just kept being taken to one Nigerian house to another. shyt was great, a lil mini Abuja there.
However most Nigerians are white washed c00ns like Ken @The Nigerian who will probably have mixed race children, we need more like you![]()
IT has nothing to do with engineering.
there are a lot of Electrical/computer engineers and computer scientists in IT.Nah, most Nigerian over here are the opposite. Like I said we blend in amongst the American blacks.
You look at a Alpha fraternity (depending what school any black Fraternity) in a Texas school, and you'll see atleast 1-3 Nigerians on the incoming line.
Acting white is laughed at over here by Nigerian kids, you have more of a problem of Nigerian kids trying to act like American black kids in negative ways.
Even with our parents, before my mom, my dad had my big brother with a American black woman. All his friends are mostly Nigerian and American blacks, my moms friends are mostly Nigerian women, but outside of that her friends are all American blacks.
We play basketball and football on the teams with the black kids, go to parties with the black kids, in some cases join gangs and cliques with the black kids.
Yea some Nigerian kids are c00nish, but that's usually cause they got picked on by black kids when they were younger and most of them (if they're normal) grow out of it by adulthood.

Don't Nigerians have the highest rate of aids![]()
STFU
My American friend who lives in New York and went to an Ivy League has told me something completely different.
Are you speaking just for Texas or New York also
He works at UBS an investment bank and has come across far too many c00ns
not sure who to believe![]()
