You keep bringing up decades of work to back your opinion on LAST YEARS TEAM.
Just stop it and admit you were off about saying they were clearly the best in the AFC in 2011.
last years team was one play away from winning the SB

hopefully there can be some way the Raiders win that winnable division and the Broncos get the Wild Card cuhz of Peyton, that sounds reasonable hopefully.![]()

Breh, unless Peyton is back to his old self and the Broncos o-line has gotten much better in pass protection, the winner of that division is 9-7 if not 8-8. I give the Raiders a chance depending on Palmer and McFadden's durability (cause those young receivers are talented) but ain't no wildcard coming outta that division.
The Pats are favorites I suppose, but I expect the Texans to be serious competitors provided their big three (Schaub, Johnson and Foster) are healthy by season's end. The Bills look like they could make those division games interesting, but will probably flame out after mid season. Provided Roethlisberger is healthy and the Steelers and Ravens don't show their age on D, I'd take both of them in the playoffs against the Pats. The Pats look improved on paper but we've yet to see it in action. They got some names out of the draft but can they contribute on D right away?
Some of you guys write off the Pats like they still aren't the class of the AFC

like yall wasn't a competent kicker from going into OT against the ravens and not even making the SB
GTFOH with that
49ers fans ego is through the roof
I'm rooting for you guys to come crashing down to earth this year
Peyton didn't want to win as much as he wanted control, Harbaugh wasn't gonna let him by the tryant dictator of the offense, hence him going to Denver with John Fox (a defensive coach) so he can do what he wants.
People forget Peyton is a megalomaniac in reality.
I`m glad we didn't get him, all that calling off every play called shyt is corny to me. People love it and praise him for it when they win, but when he calls a different play and it doesn't work no one gets on him for that.
Career losing record in the playoffs, only won a ring because he faced GROSSman
at people acting like DEN & SF got comparable situations. A young solid receiver, a future HOF receiver, a tight end that can run a 4.5 & a bulldog for a tailback
in their right mind turns that shyt down
