MELO on another level to bosh. melo was alone in NY and won 54 games and got to the second round :wow:

Bosh in TOR won 3 Playoff games :russ: (his entire TOR career)

As bad as the Knicks are, Toronto was worst. The same Bargagani that the Knick fans hate was the 2nd option in Toronto.

People don't remember how bad those Toronto teams were.

True but melo was having forty point games in the postseason. Bosh was never carrying teams the same way melo has

Exactly. So why would you pick Melo? :dahell: Quick tell me what impact Melo has on a team playing winning basketball. Drawing a blank? Me too. Give me the quirky, 6'10 2 time NBA Champ over the shot chucking, teammate alienating "superstar" SF who has only been out the first round twice in his career.

You completely missed my point

Bosh was playing with TJ Ford, Joey Graham, Morris Peterson, and Baragani in his starting lineup. I'm sorry for not blaming Bosh for not being able to carry a lineup like that. Melo wouldn't be winning playoff games with those chumps either and you know it.

I watched those games, Bosh was getting double and tripled team in the high post because he's the ONLY person to create his own shot.

Like I said, I think Melo could do better as a first option but he's also a more flawed player than Bosh is and his flaws make it very hard to build a championship tier squad as a first or second option.

Bosh is the kinda player that makes things easier for everyone on a good squad and he doesn't need the ball in his hand to provide a big impact (Game 7 in the repeat championship) because he's such a good defender, an elite shooter, a smart player, and he's capable of big time performances if needed. He's also extremely clutch and he's willing to do anything for the betterment of the team.

Melo is a more talented player but I think what Bosh brings, overall, is worth more in today's NBA. I won't hate on anyone who wants Melo over Bosh but Bosh is one of the most disrespected players on this board because people didn't really watch him until he was the third option and had to sacrifice.

Exactly

Melo>Bosh

Where does that Nuggets team go with Bosh?

Cant even use durability as a crutch to go with Bosh either cuz he damn near died last year (no disrespect intended to bosh, hope he has healed up)

Melo plays better on competitive teams and can score at will and is probably close to Bosh as a rebounder when hes committed. He was playing like a beast that year in DEN. Bosh started well last year but he hasnt yet proved to be that guy on a great team. He was third fiddle behind two HOFers, so on one hand I cant knock him for being efficient and adapting to his role but on the other Im not going to say he has proven to go above and beyond and carry a good squad deep into the playoffs..especially compared to Melo's run in a strong conference to the WCF. Everything considered I take Melo over Bosh in that draft 10/10 times.

And unicorn? How many potential stretch 4s were just drafted this year? Like 12?

Also, OP is corny and wack for either posting the same shyt word for word in two places or for straight up stealing a bad thread. Thread backfire with vast majority disagreeing strongly and for being exposed. Imma 5 star this though because this epic L needs to be recognized.

The team with Chauncey Billups, NeNe, Kenyon Martin, JR Smith, and Birdman?

That team is probably 20x better than anyone Bosh played with in Toronto. Every single one of those players is better than Bargagani who was Bosh's next best player?

Seriously, Bosh literally fits PERFECTLY on that team.

Melo took a team to wcf being the main guy, he has just been in a shytty position/team the past few years but you can't blame anyone else but him.

Interesting battle of two of the most :cape: for athletes in the history of this board. :ehh:

Poor little Bosh who had to sacrifice to get a max deal and ride nikkas coattails to a couple championships minus any pressure or expectations on his behalf only to turn around and get another max deal minus of course any expectations or pressure on his behalf :mjlol:
And poor little Melo who has never had any teammates, outside of AI, Chauncey, STAT and a couple DPOY and a 6th man of the year. :mjlol:.

I gotta take Bosh purely because he's shown me that he can take a backseat to a true superstar (which is gonna be necessary if you selected either guy) and contribute positively if the ball isn't in his hands.

Nah, that Denver team needed an elite scorer to go that far..and bruisers at the 4/5 to match up with Western bigs. They had a lot more talent than Toronto's teams but Melo raised his game under the highest stakes and carried them regardless.

Breh, Bosh is an elite scorer. He's not as good as Melo but Bosh was a 24 PPG on 59% TS and only getting better as a 25 year old in Toronto which is easily comparable with any of Melo's seasons during his stint with the Nuggets (Melo usually scored a couple points more but less efficient).

It's hard to remember but Bosh was that dude.
