Even with fictitious "pace" adjustments Wilt has the 3rd highest regular season TRB% of any player in NBA history (behind only Rodman and Russell) and he has the highest playoff TRB% of any player in NBA history - behind no one. Yet you think he'd be grabbing "12 rpg". Get real.

I think if he was the main option on a team his foul rate would be much higher in this era and he wouldn't be playing 48 mins per game even if he could that just wouldn't be allowed

Dwight Howard with shooters went to the finals.

Greg Oden who hasn't done anything really outstanding in the league and is broke off is being pursued by multiple teams.

Bynum just got a 2 year deal

height is coveted in the NBA and if any of you think Wilt would be Samuel Dalembert status, then stop watching ESPN highlights and really understand the game.

I am a big Lebron fan, but a good center...(like Hibbert) can cause havoc inside and on the boards. Totally changes the game.

I already stated that list info is B.S. - both positionaly and size wise.

Fun fact: Jordan lead his bulls in rebounding as a rookie. So I guess that makes him the Power Forward of the Chicago Bulls as a 6-4.88" 194lb rookie right?

Lets look at the 100 pt game vs the knicks the starters were

Darrall Imhoff at C 6-10 in 220 lb
Johnny Green at PF 6 ft 5 in 200 lb
Willie Naulls at SF 6 ft 6 in 225 lb

so one of them had to start at PF than no?

the majority of the game thou 7 ft 1 in 275 lb Wilt was guarded by 6 ft 9 210 lb Cleveland Buckner

that's a pretty good size advantage no?

LBJ, quite easily for me.

Wilt has some of the most inflated raw stats in all of sports.

Just look at the pace they were playing at in those days, the 73-74 Lakers, the year when Chamberlain retired, played at a pace of 111.7. Assuming that Wilts teams played roughly at the same pace before that (most likely, they played even faster) it's ridiculous to even make a comparison using raw numbers. I mean, mid-2000 Suns team were considered run and gun and played at a 95-96 pace :deadmanny: . Houston lead the league this past season in pace, logging a 96.1 pace.

Not to mention that it would be impossible for Wilt to log the kind of minutes he did in when he played.

Not that impressed brehs :patrice:

Career 30.1 ppg in regular season?

and

Career 22.5 ppg in playoffs?

:lupe:

I never noticed that:ohhh:

That's definitely a HUGE blemish on his resume:scusthov:

In 1962

He averaged 50.4 ppg on 50.6% FG in 48.5 mpg in the regular season

Then

He averaged 35 ppg on 46.7% FG in 48.0 mpg in the playoffs

What the fukk? A 15 point drop off?:why:

Why? Probably because he took 10 less shots?

Brolic... Alcoholics
When he hurt his knee in game 7 of the Finals the Lakers were down by 8 or 9 or some shyt like that. They got to within either 1 or 3 and that's when he told coach Van Claude Damme or whatever the fukk his name is that he wanted to check back in and the coach told him to go to hell and that the team was playing better without him.

People like to talk about Lebron shying away from big moments but no one was better at that shyt than Wilt. When shyt got real he was no where to be found. This is the same guy who use to willingly take himself out of games n not becuz he was hurt or tired but becuz he wanted to maintain his streak of never fouling out of a game.
