Nas has TWO classics in Illmatic & It Was Written. Stillmatic can't ever count because of "Braveheart Party", doesn't matter that i was taken off of later editions, it still counts. It was a part of the original album.

Jay-Z has NONE. Reasonable Doubt is his closest but "Ain't No nikka" is status. BP1 is boring as fukk & has "Jigga That nikka" . American Gangster is close too but Lil Wayne on "Hello Brooklyn" brings it down. Also didn't like Beanie on "Ignorant shyt", Jigga should've just released the FULL original version

I'm tired, didn't realize what I wrote is therhymeking status.

Don't get me wrong, RD & AG are 4.5 mics, personal classics. But when it comes to a non-skippable albums, they aren't up there with Illmatic & IWW.

A classic is a classic regardless of genre. Illmatic/IWW is up there with The Beatles' Revolver and TSP's Mellon Collie & the Infinite Sadness.

If a classic is a classic then yes NEITHER of them have classics. Because when OP said classic I immediately thought of Thriller and compared them to Thriller. Since they did not even come close I didnt deemt hem classics. And IWW is not a classic in my opinion. The songs are too mediocre.
