People overrated the fukk out of klay on defense, prime ray is easily better not even close
Prime Ray was a starter on arguably the GOAT defensive team & played lockdown D on prime Kobe in the FInals.

Ray is a better player overall. Much more adapt at creating his or others' offenses, better ball handling, more athletic and more varied offensive game. If I was to pick a 1st offense I'd go with him.

Truth be told, neither player I want as my best player. If I were to pick one as a 2nd/3rd option, I might go with Klay. Much better on defense and a better shooter who can score a lot without needing to handle the ball excessively.

Ray was better at creating his own shot for himself and other.

Klay is the much better defender.

Klay a better shooter too.
I won't say these sentences contradict each other but Ray being a better creator makes it hard to definitively say Klay is a better shooter.
Ray allen overrating is amazing, like come on give klay the keys he will look as good as ray if not better

klay is ideal complementary piece to a franchise player, defense and offense. Look how many games he bailed curry out
This is why people are taking Ray over Klay.

I think Ray Allen was the better player, clearly. But like you said, I wouldnt want either as my 1st option. I'd also take Klay over Ray as my second option too because Klay can play without the ball more, and is lightyears better defensivley.

Side bar-The all stars from the 00s were so much better than the all-stars of today. Ray Allen would arguably be the best SG in the league today imo. thats crazy considering he was never top3 at his position cause he played the same time as Kobe, AI, Wade, TMac and Carter.

The position is really weak right now, but he's not better than Harden (even if we clown on him a lot).

I don't think he's better than Butler as well. As a shooter? no question, but Jimmy does everything else better.

Harden plays in a gimmick offense, kid. Statistically, he's having a better season than any Kobe season, yet Harden isn't half the player. What I'm saying is, I don't judge players purely on statistics. I don't think Harden is better than any of the 00s SGs or SFs that were perennial all stars. That means T Mac, Wade, Kobe, Allen, Pierce, Ivetson and Carter were all Bette IMO.
