And? Why do people only look at Kobe's highs instead of everything together?

Kobe is amazing when he's on but he's bad when hem's off. Kobe is the type that can get you 45 points and then 15 on awful shooting.

For all of Kobe's great scoring performances, his best season still isn't seeing Durant. 32 PPG on 50% shooting or .635 TS% completely craps on any scoring season Kobe has put up.

Sounds like anyone having a bad shooting night. For whatever reason it only applies to Kobe. :yeshrug:

Except it affects Kobe more because Kobe takes more difficult shots than anyone not named Nick Young or Jamal Crawford and he'll keep taking them even if he's off.

Durant might not have the same highs but he's far more consistent. It's why that Kobe has stuff like 81 point games and absurd stuff but he still averages about the same as Durant on far lower percentages.

Instead of getting into a pissing match let's just look at facts.

I will compare Kevin Duran'ts last 5 seasons, to Kobe Bryants "prime scoring seasons" (I will use 2003 where he averaged 30 till after 2007 season (the year before he was gifted gawdsol)

Here are the numbers

Kobe Bryant Prime Scoring Averages - 29.72 PPG, 44.7 fg%, 34.8 3pt%, 84.5 ft%

Kevin Durant Last 5 years Scoring Avg - 29.18 PPG, 48.9 fg%, 38.1 3pt%, 88.36 ft%

Durant has the advantage of being 5 inches taller. And is a freak. 6'11, dribble like a guard. shoot from anywhere.

But he's not a better scorer than Kobe. Durant's not even a better pure scorer than Melo.

Kobe is a complete package as a scorer. Shoot from anywhere, is a better finisher at the rim then Durant. Better footwork, more aggressive, and has a post game.
