Without the refs is durant even an all star player?
Durant has been a better scorer than Melo since his 3rd year.Durant has the advantage of being 5 inches taller. And is a freak. 6'11, dribble like a guard. shoot from anywhere.
But he's not a better scorer than Kobe. Durant's not even a better pure scorer than Melo.
Kobe is a complete package as a scorer. Shoot from anywhere, is a better finisher at the rim then Durant. Better footwork, more aggressive, and has a post game.
Durant just shot 80% at the rim, highest percentage of shots made around the rim in the past 15 years. Kobe doesn't even come close, not even top 5.
