Who's better Pt:2 Sade, Mary J Blige, Mariah Carey?

Mariah Carey is the better singer, but I picked Sade. I love her albums and music.

Nope. Its about your music and/or your sound. No one cares about how technical your voice is. Mariah has no emotion in the majority of her songs. No soul in it. Therefore it doesnt emote or illicit that attachment to her music. You put Sade on and it puts you in a mood. You listen to Mary and has you in it. Mariah is cool though. Too pop.

These artists are not comparable at all because they are so different. Mariah is pop, MJB is soul/r&b/hip hop, and sade is like soul/neosould/jazz adult contemporary. The beauty of the 90s. You could have as many artists as you want without them being in direct competition with eachother because they were so different and each had their own lane.

If you are talking about the best singer, it is Mariah. She has the best technique out of all of them, that is not debatable. She also has the widest range and can do more with her voice. She is an award winning writer and composer. Wrote full hits and albums all by herself, hit some of the most difficult notes and came up with the most unique and memorable melodies/harmonies and lyrics.

If you are talking about the most soulful voice, the it is surely MJB. She is great at emoting and making you feel her pain or w/e emotion through her voice. I absolutely love her dance moves, she always seems to be feeling her music. lol I don't think she is a writer though. Some people have also said it sounds like she's yelling sometimes. That could be because she doesn't have the best technique.

Sade's voice is very limited and she seems to sing the same in every song. Her voice is pretty though and so is she. She is obvioiusly not my "cup of tea" as you can see as I don't have much to say about her. I think most people like her music because they find it relaxing, they like her "substance" and consider her "deep", or bc they find her attractive.

Mariah got the best voice and the most range out the 3. I always fukked with Mary's music more tho. Sade got some classics but she gets boring to me after a while. Going with Mariah just off the strength she was a pop star who put Ol Dirty on a track

Yeah, we need some parameters, definitions... voice, skill, songs, somethin'.

Secondly this was about who is the best singer. If you think its Mariah, vote mariah ( I expected her to win), I put in Mary J bilge, because her album Mary she killed it with her great vocals ( love I never had, deep inside) or her first album my life ( my life, im going down), and sade has great vocals hence why her first video I posted was live .

You seem upset that Sade is whopping Mariah Carey ass and it bothers you. Oh well, take your ball and go home then, or tag some posters to help her out.

There was no lead in votes when I came into this thread, there were barely people in here, so try again.These guys are only going to pick who they think looks better, so these threads are pointless.
They'll pick sade bc majority of them think she looks the best. Ask any trained vocalist or vocal coach, and they will tell you Mariah (similar to Whitney and Celine) has the most proper technique and widest range out of all ot them, so she is automatically the best singer out of this group no matter if people don't like her music or voice. Still none of the ladies are comparable as they have completely different voices, singing and music styles. "Whose music do you enjoy more" would've been the right question, either that or using singers who are actually similar so that there is no correct answer like there is here.

TLDR; Do better next time, or don't do it at all.
