The need to spend $100 when they could just unplug the "tiny" PS4 and bring the plug
The other TV would already have an HDMI cord just waiting for the transfer

Well....for me, unplugging my PS4 is a gigantic hassle because I have to move my entertainment center and all that to get to the power strip that everything is plugged in to.

He's trolling.

Honestly, if a grown man and is saying, "Man you can just unplug the system and take it to another room if you want to play it in there" I can't take them seriously period. That's some shyt a little kid would say.

Some people have intricate entertainment system setups. I'm not unplugging my PS4 just to move it for a few hours.

The PS Now integration will make or break this device IMO. Sony also needs to get all the necessary media apps on this thing as well.
It's all about convenience. Some people value it, some people are straight with struggle alternatives like swapping a device out anytime you want to use it elsewhere.

I'm not unplugging anything when it comes to this stuff. Bedroom, Living Room, Mancave and an Office... obviously I spend plenty of time in each room... I literally shook my head when I read his few posts in this thread, but I understand what trolling is all about so I didn't even really entertain it.

See I'm not buying that :camby: Yeah "SOME" people. But not the majority which is what this is being directed to
2ndly, I call bullshyt again because its not like you have your PS4 straight up hidden. What kinda fukked up setup you have if you can't even REACH your PS4 :stopitslime:

Now, I don't even have a PS4 but I can tell you nikkaz just flat out lying. And why :why:
The PS4 uses HDMI, and the power cord is the same cord that was used for the PS3 (slim model)
So you hardcore types.. You already have the cords necessary. All you would have to do is grab your TINY PS4 and walk into another room with it. No hassle whatsoever
You can't talk AROUND the reality of the situation :ez:

And with the $100 pricetag, why wouldn't I buy a X360/PS3/Roku instead?

Once again, the power strip you speak of is the same as it was for the PS1/2/3 and now 4
Cable boxes also use the same cord. You could easily not move those cords, grab the PS4, :win:

Bruh, just because I speak that truth and don't agree with you. That means instant Trolling bruh?
You wanna talk about can't taking people seriously? You over here talking about how that is some shyt a kid would say :wtf:
nikka, a kid would wanna move his system around all the ghat damn time. So now what
A kid would be like "Wow, PSTV.. now I can stream Lily Bergamo in 1080i instead of 1080p in the main room because my MOM/DAD is busy using the TV"

Thats the real kid shyt. If you a man like you acting, then this isn't even a buy for you. You got your 200in projector in 4k. Why would this shyt appeal to you :heh:
How would any adult be like "Yo White Vibes, I'm gonna go in the other room and play the same game you are in a lower resolution!!!"
There is literally no scenarios where an adult would take real advantage of this device
NONE

The audacity for you to try to flip that :laff:

So are you saying most people only have 1 TV and only consume their entertainment in 1 room in 2014?
And to answer your last question... because those are more expensive and bigger than this (X360 and PS3) and they don't let you mirror your PS4 on it. It's like sayin why not just cop another PS4 instead of a PSTV... well because one of them is 400 and the other is 100.

It's appealing to me because my PS4 is downstairs, and I wouldn't mind having access to it upstairs without having to go down there. None of this shyt is a must for me at this point. But you acting like it's a pointless item is beyond stupid.

wait, so i can play my ps4 from the bedroom vs someone in the living room? (legit question)

maybe if both systems were playing a multiplayer game via PS-Now. but otherwise the PS4 would basically have to do double the work

The video I linked shows a game being played that's 2 players on both the PS4 and PSTV on 2 different screens

it was a specific situation with a game that allows two players to be on the screen. I imagine you could do it with fighting games as well. but it's also a situation that really begs the question of "why not just play in the same room, on the same machine?"

you're not going to be able to use this to play a PS4 FPS against someone else in another room. it's conceivable they could 'hack' something together, to basically work like split-screen by reducing the resolution and such. but that would be something they would have to consider for future games and/or patch into older games. and it would greatly effect the image quality, so I'm not sure it's something that they would be into

See I'm not buying that

We know you're not buying it Court

My entertainment system is a cabinet type with all the wires and such in the back. So that is power cord (still have an 60GB OG PS3) and ethernet, I'd have to unplug. Plus I'd have to move my entire cabinet to do so. No thanks.

I don't need a whole nother console so the $100 pricetag aint that much if I'm going to get use out of it.

I don't think people are interested in this to play 2 player games in different rooms on 2 different devices.

Who still plays split screen or multiplayer games on the same console right now anyway?

:heh: it's not something I'm into, but I'm sure there's still people that would use split-screen. not everyone's a coli baller with 12 entertainment systems in their mansion

but anyway, I was just trying to answer a question (unsuccessfully apparently) about if people could use this device to "play my ps4 from the bedroom vs someone in the living room?"
