Exact same happened to me. Momma took me to 2 stores. Chaps and some Athletic store. Had mostly baseball gear, cleats, etc. They had some Nike canvas joints. Everyone had them 44$ joints. I didn't want any part of them.
Had those and a pair of ugly lowtop Nike Ndestruks I think. Cant find a pic for shyt. Moms starts yelling saying we not going to any other stores.
I choose them the ugly Nikes.
Similiar to these, but lows and worse. Horrible silhouette.
This is around Xmas my best friends coming out with Nike Penny 2s and Jordan XIs.
I pulled them ugly azz shoes out, but no one clowned me bcuz I would and could fight. After about 3 wears I was done with them.
Till this daym my best friend still clowns me about them shoes.
