Did you or did you not JUST post that David Robinson, Chris Paul, and Dwyane Wade are arguably 3 of the top 10 players ever?

There isnt ANY legitimate argument that can be made to throw those 3 in the top 10 to ever play the game.....NONE:rudy:

And this is not a deflection, I'm responding to your post back to me.

You rely on stats way too much. Like I said before, your basketball eyes should be the #1 indicator of someone's talent.

No way your eyes can tell you that ANY of those 3 are top 10 all-time level players......let alone ALL 3 of em are.

:comeon:

The problem with going off of eyes is that everyone has their own eyes. And there is no way your eyes can tell you everything, or take in every game. Going off of what you see alone without confirming it isn't really showing an effort to make the best judgement.

You should want to make objective data a part of your argument. After all, it's objective.

Yes, Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade and David Robinson are arguably ten of the best players to ever play, considering that 15 or 16 guys are really close together and distinguishing them isn't easy.

Your still not debunking what I'm saying with any substance. Your just saying 'My eyes don't see that,' which really doesn't matter.

If you want to keep making things up and judging how I analyze the game without even knowing it, go ahead, but it's not furthering the discussion.

You said it again!:mindblown:

Did you know that PER stats also have:

Charles Barkley > Kareem Abdul-Jabbar?
Karl Malone > Hakeem Olajuwon?
Pau Gasol > Dominique Wilkins?
Manu Ginobili > Clyde Drexler?
Elton Brand > Patrick Ewing?
Carlos Boozer > Kevin McHale?
Al Jefferson > Steve Nash?
Michael Redd > Bernard King?
Sam Cassell > Tony Parker?
Shawn Marion > Bill Russell?
Gilbert Arenas > Isiah Thomas?
Terrell Brandon > Gary Payton?
Steve Francis > Jason Kidd?
Corey Maggette > James Worthy?
Nene > Dikembe Mutombo?

You really wanna use PER as part of your way to measure a player's greatness over your own common sense?:usure:

But that's selective. Nobody only uses PER to make a final judgement. Nobody did that here. At all.

Your deferring to personally attacking people instead of proving why the evidence is incorrect. It's lazy.
no, im attacking the numbers not the person. Its bullshyt for any metric to say that Dirk was a more effective player than Larry Bird. If you believe Dirk is better than Bird, then that is your opinion. If you say, "well the numbers say" then im going to tell you and those number to shove it up your ass.

That also goes in line with anyone saying Gasol's 2010 playoff run was one of the best ever. Its bunk.

You said it again!:mindblown:
