It's close but I'll go with Demar. His improved handles and (slowly) improving 3 point shot will be the difference, unless Klay really improved aspects of his game this summer. Klay is a much better defender but that has nothing to do with this thread. Yet people defending Klay keep bringing it up... wonder why.

derozan. klay is obviously a better shooter but derozan can kind of do it all. decent shot, excellent slasher and finisher at the rim, elite athleticism, more physical etc.

DeMar's 30 games vs the West: 22.4 points on 41% shooting

Not a huge difference.

DeMar against the Warriors last year: 29 ppg on 59% shooting
Klay against the Raptors last year: 17 ppg on 34% shooting

That doesn't make much sense. The west has better teams, but scoring is high. I would assume the pace is slightly higher, leading to a bit more stats if anything. Only two teams in the West gave up less than 99 points per game.

Klay was 2nd in preseason scoring. He shot 50% from 3 and he dropped 35 on the Nuggets last night and they have 2 damn good defensive shooting guards
