I believe in stats as much as the next person but you can't use stats for certain things. for example defensive rating stats doesn't take into account an opponent making difficult shots or refeering incompetence etc. This is the same defensive rating that ranks the pistons and warriors wack ass defense this season as top 11 in the league

Then you need glasses. Sixers are 3rd because of their length and active hands. Embiid's likely going to finish 2nd in DPOTY. Simmons and Covington are constantly disrupting passing lanes and can defend multiple positions on the floor. Then you got bench like McConnell and Anderson who just know how to annoy folks for 90 feet.
