Yes they would. Harden is old and can't lead a team to a ring. Simmons is young and has a higher ceiling than Harden ever did. Your GM would pop champagne if Philly ever offered him Simmons for Harden. But Philly would never consider that, so it's a moot point.No they wouldn’t make that trade dumb fucc.
And secondly, yes, trading for Simmons would defacto gut the team because Paul, Ariza, Luc, Green, Johnson, Black, Wright aren’t coming back to play with a second year guy who can’t shoot.
That leaves a roster of 4 centers, 3 power forwards, and 1 shooting guard
