I think the race is between Joakim Noah and Larry Sanders, but even though Larry Sanders lead the L in blocks, he only plays 26 mpg.

He has very nice defensive stats in that time period as well as :ohlawd: defense per 100 Poss on/off court stats.

What's holding him back is that, he barely plays half the game so he remains pretty fresh during the game, while Noah has to hold down the fort 39 mpg. That means, Noah is more tired and has to decide when to exert energy or pull back, while Larry Sanders can pretty much go hard the entire game in his 26 minutes.

Noah is DPOY imo:yeshrug:

Since it's pretty open this year they should give it to LeBron just because he should already have one. But I doubt he gets it because Miami's D has slipped this year. He's the best defender in the league though.

Just PLEASE don't give it to Ibaka. That dude is so overrated with his 7 boards per game.

Its gotta be between Sanders, Noah and George.
Sanders is probably the best but he doesn't get quite enough playing time to get it.
George, as good as he is, just simply can't impact the game as much as a perimeter player.
So gotta give it to :noah:
