THUNDER BUDDIES
Y'all my people's :blessed::blessed::blessed:
Black On Both Sides is without question a classic, and The Ecstatic is heavily slept on, I mean Workers Comp, History, brehs "I'll give you all the diamonds and money but you can't break my heaaaaaaart....." Also "Fake Bonanza" off of True Magic is another fav. Plus Mos had hella features/collabs on Rawkus Compilations. "Body Rock" with Tash, and Q-Tip, "Oh No" with Nate Dogg and Pharaoh Monche. He had the Bars, charisma, the wit, man just inconsistent output and divided attention SMD :mjcry:

HE WOULD JUST HOP ON THE shyt AND JUST BREEZE THROUGH A VERSE. THE FIRST TIME I HEARD MOS WAS ON "OH NO". I IMMEDIATELY WENT AND DOWNLOAD ALL I COULD FIND.

Probably Canibus...

Dude is the epitome of "we were all rooting for you!"

And that's OK, I got over that 20 years ago when he dropped that wack-ass album.

But the fact he never stopped embarrassing himself even after that... it's like it kept gettin' worse... :mjlol:

That strange-ass Eminem Stan concept album shyt he did... then the album cover he had where he's wearin' a cricket uniform :russ:... then that battle with Dizaster :heh:

Ras Kass. It's all his fault he's not on everyone's top 10. Label issues, being an alcoholic, bad career decisions, etc...

The Firm album disappointments as well as Nas distancing himself adversely affected the trajectory of other artists.

AZ, Nature, and Half-A-Mil (even though Half benefitted, his career could have been bigger)

I was a Tragedy Khadafi stan but the delay and shelving of Against All Odds (a personal classic) pretty much destroyed his chance of being a bigger star. Back then, with War Report and AAO he was putting out some serious NY goon music.

This song been on my mind for the last few days
:ahh:
