WHY 50 POSTING A NEW SONG EVERY WEEK?

So I know alot you ppl are excited about 50's new Animal Ambition Project. As you know he is dropping a song and video every week. This is great and all but what the hell will people buy on June 3rd? This got me thinking why would 50 do this? And I think I stumbled on why. The reason he is dropping all the songs before the actual album comes out is that he must be very concerned with his first week numbers. He doesnt want anything to tarnish his image even more. Its easy for him to say "100k or less is not a failure cuz I already released all the songs what do you expect? Or sales dont mean anything." Which im sure he really doesnt care about the money of this project but he gotta be concerned what will happen to his image. Or what fuel this will be for everyone already against him. Just my thoughts .... Let me know what you guys was thinking about it

of course the element of surprise was the biggest reason for its success

he might end up bein ahead of the curve with this one hard to say... but so much emphasis is placed on first week sales and then you typically see a 75% drop off by the next week or so..definitely a variation on the typical album push

It's getting people to talk about him again so its working. Most cats drop a mixtape and everyone's forgotten about it a week later. At least this way he's making noise weekly.

I haven't bought a single yet but the quality of the tracks have me convinced I'm gonna buy the album.
